A new feature film based on Rudyard Kipling's classic short story

As ArtWerks Entertainment™ prepares to bring Rikki Tikki Tavi™ to life in a new, exciting way, we’re diving into the rich history behind this beloved story and its celebrated creator, Rudyard Kipling. With a legacy spanning over a century, Rikki Tikki Tavi™ is an enduring tale of bravery, loyalty, and triumph. Our upcoming adaptation promises to honor this legacy while offering a fresh, action-packed take on the classic.

Rudyard Kipling was more than just a storyteller; he was one of the most influential literary figures of his time. Born in British India in 1865, Kipling's experiences in India shaped many of his iconic works, including The Jungle Book and Kim. His stories often reflected his fascination with the land of his birth, weaving together themes of adventure, loyalty, and morality in vivid, memorable ways.

In 1907, Kipling became the first English-language writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. His work continues to captivate readers worldwide, with Rikki Tikki Tavi™ being one of his most enduring and beloved creations.

Rikki Tikki Tavi™ first appeared in The Jungle Book (1894), Kipling's famous collection of stories set in the jungles of India. While The Jungle Book is best known for the tale of Mowgli, Rikki Tikki Tavi™ has long stood on its own as a timeless story of courage, loyalty, and the fierce struggle between good and evil.

In this tale, a courageous young mongoose named Rikki risks everything to protect his human family from two deadly cobras, Nag and Nagaina. Themes of family, honor, and rising to the occasion resonate deeply throughout the story. Kipling’s vivid writing captured the heart-pounding moments of Rikki’s battles while exploring the deep bonds between animals and humans.

Over the years, Rikki Tikki Tavi™ has been adapted into various forms of entertainment, most notably the 1975 animated special directed by legendary animator Chuck Jones. This version of Rikki Tikki Tavi™ brought the story to television audiences worldwide, cementing its place in popular culture. Jones’ adaptation captured the story’s excitement and intensity while keeping the heart of Kipling’s tale intact.

Other adaptations followed, though none reached the cultural impact of the Chuck Jones special. Despite its popularity, Rikki Tikki Tavi™ has never been adapted into a full-length feature film—until now.

At ArtWerks Entertainment™, we’re excited to be the first to bring Rikki Tikki Tavi™ to the big screen as a full-length feature film. This new adaptation will stay true to Kipling’s themes of bravery, honor, and family while expanding the story in bold and thrilling ways. Audiences can expect epic battles, emotional depth, and breathtaking visuals that capture the spirit of the original story while giving it a modern twist.

Our Rikki Tikki Tavi™ film explores Rikki’s journey in greater detail, with intense action sequences, exciting new characters, and even a post-credits twist that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. The film will highlight Rikki's bravery as he faces ever-increasing odds, particularly in a suspenseful, high-stakes battle within the rats' den, where danger lurks around every corner.

We’re thrilled to create a film that not only pays homage to Kipling’s beloved tale but also offers something fresh and engaging for today’s audiences.
